Job summary

Akash Homes is seeking a Site Superintendent to own residential construction from excavation to possession, delivering safe, on-schedule homes that meet quality standards. You’ll manage multiple sites, coordinate trade partners and provide daily leadership to Site Assistants and Technicians.

You’ll drive accountability, coach staff, and collaborate with Estimating and Drafting to resolve issues, while ensuring safety, clean sites and timely possessions across Western Canada.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising residential construction sites or independently managing homebuilding projects.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction practices, sequencing and trade coordination.
• Strong understanding of Alberta Building Code and OH&S requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple homes at different stages while maintaining quality and schedule.
• Ability to assess workmanship and resolve construction issues.

Responsibilities

• Owns buildings from excavation through possession and maintains schedules.
• Coordinates trade partners, inspections and deliveries to meet timelines.
• Builds accountability across sites and communicates with field and office teams.
• Provides day-to-day leadership, coaching and guidance to Site Assistants and Technicians.
• Identifies and resolves deficiencies, conducts pre-possession walkthroughs.
• Ensures safety, cleanliness and compliance with OH&S requirements.
