Our client, a leading ICI General Contractor specializing in large-scale new build institutional and commercial projects throughout the GTA and surrounding areas, is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to join their team.

This individual will be responsible for all supervision on-site, managing subcontractors and trades, and coordinating with internal stakeholders such as the Project Management team, as well as external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site activities, manage subcontractors and trades.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as the Project Management team and external stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and timelines, addressing issues or delays promptly.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure workmanship meets company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of project expenses, materials, and other relevant data.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as an ICI Superintendent managing large-scale, complex institutional or commercial projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Gold Seal Certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of LEED certification and sustainable building practices is a plus.
• Proficiency with construction software and tools.
