Our client, a leading ICI General Contractor specializing in large-scale new build institutional and commercial projects throughout the GTA and surrounding areas, is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site activities, manage subcontractors and trades.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as the Project Management team and external stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and timelines, addressing issues or delays promptly.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure workmanship meets standards.
• Maintain accurate records of project expenses, materials, and other relevant data.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as an ICI Superintendent managing large-scale institutional or commercial projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Gold Seal Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of LEED certification and sustainable building practices preferred.
• Proficiency with construction software and tools.
