Job summary

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Site Superintendent to lead day-to-day site operations of commercial and institutional construction projects in Richmond, BC. You will drive safety, quality, scheduling, and subcontractor performance to deliver projects on time and within budget.

This hands-on leadership role requires a proactive construction professional with a track record of supervising crews and coordinating multi-discipline teams.

Qualifications

• Utilize excellent leadership, workforce planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project; carpentry background, Gold Seal, P3, Design-Build, or interiors experience considered assets.
• Demonstrate progressive Superintendent experience within commercial or institutional construction.
• Manage construction projects valued between $10M and $25M successfully.
• Lead field operations with 5 to 10 years of supervisory experience.
• Apply strong knowledge of construction practices, drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety initiatives and monitor compliance among field teams and subcontractors.
• Coordinate daily construction activities to achieve schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop site personnel through coaching and performance management.
• Administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, site instructions, and change notices.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure quality workmanship and materials.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve construction, design, and scheduling challenges.
