Job summary

RNF Ventures Ltd. in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan invites applications for a Site Superintendent to oversee multiple projects from start to finish. You will coordinate overall site activities, manage budgets, schedules, and quality control, and report to the Project Manager.

We value strong communication with field staff and office personnel, knowledge of OH&S legislation, and the ability to liaison with Owners and Consultants. Pre-engineered building experience is an asset.

Job description

RNF Ventures Ltd., located in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, is a locally owned, open shop General Contracting and Construction Management firm with over 40 years of steady growth behind us. Our employees enjoy a secure working environment in a stable and expanding marketplace. We presently have openings for Site Superintendents for various sized projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordination of overall job site to ensure timely and cost effective delivery of projects.
• Implementation and reporting on Company Health and Safety Program with the Company Health and Safety Officer.
• Report to, and work with Project Manager on the following on site activities:
  • Overall site management
  • Develop and maintain construction schedule.
  • Maintain construction budget.
  • Quality control.
  • Maintain legislative requirements for all on site personnel.
  • Manage labor requirements and allocation.
  • Sub-trade coordination.
  • On site purchasing and cost control.
  • Liaison with Owners and Consultants.
  • Project start up and closeout requirements.
  • Timely submittal of all required documentation for office use.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Supervise projects with limited office support.
• Communicate effectively with RNF field staff and office personnel.
• Effectively represent RNF Ventures when dealing with Owners and Consultants.
• Experience with Microsoft programs is an asset, but not a requirement.
• Good comprehension of O H & S legislation and regulations.
• Pre-engineered building experience is an asset.
