Job summary

Westridge Construction Ltd. in Saskatoon is seeking an experienced full-time Superintendent to oversee day-to-day site operations on multiple projects with values up to $100M+. You will lead planning, schedule execution, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of construction experience with increasing responsibility in a Superintendent or leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage construction sites and coordinate diverse teams and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and site logistics.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Solid administrative and organizational skills with reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations on one or multiple construction projects.
• Lead projects of varying size and complexity up to large-scale builds.
• Ensure site safety standards are met in collaboration with safety personnel.
• Coordinate and manage site setup, utilities, offices, access, and material handling.
• Lead weekly planning meetings and support project scheduling.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Coordinators on execution and methodology.
• Coordinate labour requirements with HR and Field Services.
• Supervise Foremen, Lead Hands, and field staff; manage subcontractors.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to change pricing and monthly reporting.
• Maintain accurate project documentation (daily reports, photos, timesheets, etc.).
• Support QA/QC processes on site and track labour productivity.
• Manage site equipment, tools, and material procurement; mentor field staff.

Westridge Construction is looking to add an experienced full-time Superintendent to our Saskatoon team. We are open to candidates with a range of experience levels, from developing Superintendents to those capable of leading large, complex projects.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee day-to-day site operations on one or multiple construction projects
• Lead projects of varying size and complexity (approximately $0 – $100M+) depending on experience
• Ensure site safety standards are met in collaboration with safety personnel
• Coordinate and manage site setup (utilities, offices, access, hoarding, material handling, etc.)
• Lead weekly planning meetings and support project scheduling
• Work closely with Project Managers and Coordinators on execution and methodology
• Coordinate labour requirements with HR and Field Services
• Supervise and support Foremen, Lead Hands, and field staff (scope dependent on experience)
• Manage subcontractors, including contract compliance and site performance
• Participate in project meetings (handover, review, pre-bid, etc.)
• Contribute to change pricing and monthly project reporting
• Maintain accurate project documentation (daily reports, photos, timesheets, etc.)
• Support QA/QC processes on site
• Track labour productivity and site performance
• Manage site equipment, tools, and material procurement
• Mentor and develop field staff
• Promote teamwork, innovation, and Westridge values
• Work out of town as required

What You Bring
