Job summary

Schneider Electric's Industrial Automation Services team seeks an experienced automation professional to advise customers operating critical infrastructure across Western Canada. You will lead maintenance, perform upgrades, and drive project delivery with a strong focus on reliability and lifecycle management.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on DCS experience, 3-5 years in automation, and a proven ability to communicate with customers.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Process Control, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or related discipline.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Foxboro DCS or similar Distributed Control Systems.
  • 3-5 years of industrial automation, commissioning, maintenance, or field service experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and system administration.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel more than 60% regionally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead maintenance, troubleshooting, and support activities for customer automation systems.

  • Support FAT and project delivery activities.

Job description

Join Schneider Electric's Industrial Automation Services team and become a trusted technical advisor to customers operating critical infrastructure and process environments.

In this role, you'll combine field service expertise, automation knowledge, and customer engagement skills to support, maintain, and modernize industrial control systems across Western Canada.

What will you do?
  • Lead maintenance, troubleshooting, and support activities for customer automation systems
  • Execute upgrades, migrations, testing, startup, and commissioning plans
  • Conduct risk assessments and technical evaluations
  • Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and project delivery activities
  • Partner with customers to improve reliability, performance, and system lifecycle management
  • Work with internal experts to resolve complex technical challenges
  • Support the development of future service and project opportunities
What qualifications will make you successful:
Required Qualifications

The expected pay range is CAD 75,200 - CAD 112,800 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives.
