Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a SCADA Technical Sales Consultant in Canada to advise customers on automation, remote monitoring, and digital technologies. You will design solutions with SCADA software, RTUs, and protocols, deliver demos and workshops, and support RFIs/RFPs while traveling up to 50% domestically and occasionally overseas.

You will collaborate with channel partners, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to drive solution development and business growth in industrial markets.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in technical sales, sales engineering, application engineering, or industrial automation.
  • Experience with SCADA, RTU, PLC, or related automation technologies.
  • Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of industrial communications protocols such as MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus, DNP3, or EtherNet/IP.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within Canada and occasionally internationally.

What will you do?

Preferred Qualifications
  • SCADA software expertise.
  • RTU or PLC integration experience.
  • Experience with IIoT, cloud-based architectures, and data management platforms.
  • Knowledge of OT cybersecurity, Active Directory, or Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Linux and Python experience.
  • Experience supporting customers in energy, water/wastewater, or industrial markets.

The expected pay range is CAD 102,850 - CAD 145,200 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives.
