Job summary

GardaWorld in Canada is seeking a Site Security Coordinator to oversee daily security operations, coordinate security personnel, manage access control and guest processing, respond to service requests, and ensure compliance with client policies and safety standards.

You will act as a key contact for security matters, coordinate with internal teams, escalate significant risks and incidents to management, and support a fast-paced environment with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Experience in security operations or supervisory security role.
• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV monitoring, incident response, and security procedures.
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports

Qualifications for Site Security Coordinator

• Be authorized to work in Canada

Previous experience in security operations, event security, or a supervisory security role.

Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV monitoring, incident response, and security procedures.

Experience supervising, delegating tasks to, and supporting security personnel.

Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to assess risks, respond to incidents, and elevate issues appropriately.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of workplace safety, security policies, and applicable regulations.
