Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a vigilant Site Safety Officer to ensure health and safety on Kimberley construction sites, developing and monitoring safety policies to prevent accidents and injuries. You will promote zero harm through proactive measures and strong communication with site personnel.

Responsibilities include site safety inspections, creating plans, delivering toolbox talks, investigating incidents, and maintaining accurate safety records in compliance with the OHS Act.

Qualifications

• Registered as a Professional Practitioner in Occupational Health and Safety (Pr. OHS) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in construction.
• Thorough knowledge of OHS Act and construction safety regulations.
• Strong skills in risk assessment and hazard identification.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and reporting abilities.

About the Role
