Base pay range

$64.00/hr - $70.00/hr

100% REMOTE SENIOR SRE

Local to Canada

$88- $96 CAD

1 year contract with extensions

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in the administration of enterprise-grade AWS infrastructures
• 4+ years of experience coding, experience with Python, Go or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience working with Terraform in production environment
• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes
• Comprehensive understanding of cloud-native patterns for managing and deploying workloads
• Strong desire and ability to improve code quality within the team
• Background in infrastructure and config-as-code tools like Terraform and Pulumi
• Willingness and mentorship skills to grow team members
• Strong Linux systems administration skills
• Proficiency in infrastructure, service, and application monitoring tools
• Experience organizing cross-team projects of 6+ months
• Strong security skills
• Ability to participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation

Job Description

You will work alongside application engineering teams to support the development of the CSE Orbital product. You’ll be part of a passionate Site Reliability Engineering community focused on continuous improvement and learning. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you have a background in developing and maintaining dynamic infrastructure, with experience in development and infrastructure automation. You enjoy building platforms for application developers and customers, designing solutions that automate processes and facilitate team collaboration. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining the cloud infrastructure for our Secure Endpoint Orbital platform, leveraging the latest AWS services and infrastructure-as-code tooling to create, maintain, and develop a cloud platform.
