Job summary

• Proven experience in purchasing, logistics, or inventory management in construction.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles and inventory control methods.
• Experience with logistics operations and vendor management.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and relevant tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a strong safety culture and following safety policies.
• Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to develop procurement strategies.
• Source and evaluate vendors, negotiate terms, and maintain supplier relationships.
• Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve supplier issues.
• Maintain records of purchases, invoices, and supplier performance.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing logistics and minimizing costs.
• Monitor shipment status, address delays or issues, and ensure timely delivery to site.
• Oversee loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper handling, storage, and organization.
• Implement and maintain inventory control processes to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and field teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to site.
• Assign tasks, optimize resource utilization, and support a productive work environment.
