Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is a family-owned leader in metal recycling with 125 sites and 4,000 employees. The Site Manager will coordinate site activities, lead teams, ensure safe operations and a strong customer-focused culture.

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will oversee procurement, transportation, daily operations, and implement process improvements while meeting performance targets and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and site operations management experience.
• Ability to manage teams, safety, and customer focus.
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site activities and supervise the team to ensure safe operations.
• Oversee procurement of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
• Manage truck dispatching and transportation schedules.
• Develop and implement operational policies and processes.
• Contribute to financial results by controlling operating costs.
• Maintain a strong customer-service culture.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
