Job summary

Dream Unlimited Corp. is seeking a Site Labourer to support day-to-day construction operations and site maintenance across our projects. Join a growing team and help ensure sites stay organized, safe and productive as the build schedule advances.

You will perform construction tasks, assist with material handling, and follow OH&S guidelines while collaborating with trades. A proactive, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' of construction related experience; commercial and residential experience preferred.
• High School Diploma; trade school focus on construction is a plus.
• Ability to operate a skidsteer and telehandler is an asset.
• Candidates should be proactive with problem solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform site construction tasks.
• Ensure commercial projects and homes are ready for trades as the build schedule progresses.
• Keep job sites accessible and safe at all times to prevent injuries and hazards.
• Collect and dispose of construction waste and recycle materials where applicable.
• Load and unload construction material.
• Perform paperwork or administration activities related to job sites in a timely manner.
• Understand and implement OH&S safety requirements to lead in safe work practices.
• Other duties and projects as required.

What will you do?

Responsibilities

• Perform site construction tasks;
• Ensure our commercial projects and homes are ready for the trades as the build schedule progresses;
• Ensure our job sites are accessible and safe at all times with the goal of preventing injuries and eliminating hazards for our trade partners and employees;
• Collect and dispose of construction waste and recycle materials where applicable;
• Loading and unloading of construction material;
• Perform paperwork or administration activities related to job sites in a timely manner;
• Understand and implement OH&S safety requirements to ensure we are a leader in safe work practices; and
• Other duties and projects as required.

What type of experience is required?

• 2+ years' of construction related experience, commercial and residential experience is preferred;
• High School Diploma, completion of Trade School with focus on construction would be an asset;
• Ability to operate a skidsteer and telehandler is an asset;
• We expect you to be proactive and have creative problem solving skills; and
• You have a valid driver's license and a vehicle to prove it.
