Job summary

Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan is seeking an IT Superintendent to lead IT/OT services for the McIlvenna Bay operation, based in Saskatoon with some site time. You will steer the IT/OT roadmap, ensure secure, reliable technology across mine, mill, and facilities, and drive digital mining initiatives in a safety‑conscious environment.

The role requires 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years in leadership, with mining/industrial IT/OT integration preferred; certifications such as ITIL, CCNA/CCNP,

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience with 5+ years in a leadership role in industrial/mining/critical environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote zero-harm safety culture and comply with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the IT/OT roadmap aligning with business priorities and corporate technology standards.
• Oversee technology services for mine, mill, camp, administration and operations facilities.
• Ensure reliable network, server, storage, cloud, cybersecurity, and end-user platforms.
• Manage incident, asset, and service delivery processes and lifecycle replacement.
• Drive digital mining initiatives including LTE, fleet management, process control, and real-time monitoring.
• Manage budgets, procurement, vendor relations, and contract/support agreements.
• Mentor and develop site technology personnel and succession plans.
