Job summary

Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran is seeking an IT Superintendent to lead IT/OT services at the McIlvenna Bay project, based in Saskatoon with weekly site visits.

You will oversee infrastructure, cybersecurity, communications, and digital mining initiatives, ensuring safe, reliable technology aligned with company standards and growth plans for 2026 production.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role supporting industrial, mining, or critical operating environments.
  • Experience managing enterprise infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, telecommunications, cloud services, and end-user computing environments.
  • Experience supporting Operational Technology environments and IT/OT integration in mining, industrial, manufacturing, or similar settings.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, wireless communications, cybersecurity, systems administration, disaster recovery, service management, and technology governance.
  • Proven experience delivering technology projects and managing vendors, contractors, budgets, service providers, and support agreements.
  • Strong communication, leadership, planning, organizational, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Mining industry experience is preferred.
  • Preferred certifications may include ITIL, CCNA/CCNP, CISSP/CISM/Security+, PMP, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain a culture of zero harm through visible safety leadership and compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the site IT/OT roadmap in alignment with business priorities, operational readiness needs, and corporate technology standards.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for technology services supporting mine, mill, camp, administration, and operational facilities.
  • Ensure reliable operation of network, telecommunications, server, storage, cloud, cybersecurity, and end-user computing platforms.
  • Oversee technology service delivery, incident management, asset management, support processes, maintenance, and lifecycle replacement activities.
  • Support digital mining initiatives, including industrial communications, LTE, fleet management, process control, automation, real-time monitoring, worker safety, and asset tracking technologies.
  • Maintain secure and resilient IT/OT integration, segmentation, remote access, and communications in accordance with corporate cybersecurity standards.
  • Lead site technology projects from planning through implementation, commissioning, operational handover, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate internal resources, contractors, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective technology outcomes.
  • Promote cyber resilience through implementation of security controls, audits, vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery planning, and incident response readiness.
  • Develop and manage site technology operating and capital budgets, procurement activities, vendor relationships, contracts, and support agreements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop site technology personnel, including performance expectations, coaching, training, and succession planning.
  • Build strong relationships with operations, maintenance, technical services, corporate technology teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Salary Range: $140,000.00 To $155,000.00 Annually

Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran (TSX:ELD) is seeking an IT Superintendent to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at our Saskatoon office, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a minimum of one week per month required at site. Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran is advancing the McIlvenna Bay project, a cornerstone asset and one of the most significant copper development projects in Canada. With commercial production expected in the second half of 2026, this world-class deposit contains copper, zinc, gold, and silver – key metals for the global transition to green energy. IT Superintendent is responsible for the leadership, delivery, and continuous improvement of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) services supporting the McIlvenna Bay operation. This role provides site technology oversight for infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications, end-user services, and digital mining initiatives while aligning with Eldorado Gold standards and operational priorities.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $155,000/year based on experience and qualifications. Annual discretionary short term incentive award at a percentage of base salary, rewarding exceptional contributions to team and company success.
