Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Site Health & Safety Administrator to support on-site safety data integrity, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves working in Northern BC on a two weeks on/two weeks off schedule and requires coordinating with stakeholders to ensure compliant documentation and audit readiness.

The position emphasizes data validation, safety procedures, and cross-functional collaboration within an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health & safety practices in industrial environments.
• Post-secondary education in Health & Safety or related field is required.
• Ability to follow structured procedures and identify improvement opportunities.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of document control processes and data management best practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with HSE systems (incident management, LMS, PTW) is preferred.
• Effective communication and ability to ask questions, clarify expectations, and share insights.
• Proven ability to manage, validate, and maintain large data volumes accurately.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with compiling safety performance metrics for senior stakeholders.
• Maintain and update health & safety information across internal systems with high accuracy.
• Provide admin support in developing and maintaining safety procedures.
• Identify data inconsistencies and raise concerns proactively.
• Contribute to audit readiness by ensuring documentation is current and compliant.
• Support collection, validation, and organization of safety-related data.
• Ensure data handling complies with privacy and regulatory standards.
• Assist in preparing internal reports and leadership dashboards.
• Record and track incident reports with complete documentation.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
