Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Brampton ON is seeking a General Laborer / Operator to join our safety-conscious team. You will perform container turnaround/cleaning on site, act as flagman for landfill dumps, assist with painting and housekeeping, and handle various labor duties around the site.

The position offers full-time hours, health benefits after 30 days, RRSP matching, and opportunities for growth. Valid G license, forklift experience, and strong reliability are required.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is an asset.
Hazardous materials handling experience preferred.
Forklift experience considered an asset.
Valid G License required.
Dependable and detail-oriented.
Strong customer service skills required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Operates oil filter crusher machine.
Prepares bulk wastes for shipment to Safety-Kleen, Clean Harbors and/or 3rd party locations.
Completes and submits paperwork for waste tracking movements.
Operates a forklift and performs daily safety checks prior to operation.
Performs daily/weekly facility inspections.
Ensures compliance with Health and Safety SOPs.
Maintains organized inventory and cleaning of warehouse areas.
