Site Coordinator, Highrise Building Construction

Description

You are an experienced Field Coordinator with over 3 years of field operations experience working in multi-disciplinary large-scale residential projects. You will ensure compliance with safety protocols, schedules, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations. Essential Responsibilities

• Ensure that field staff are equipped with the resources required to efficiently complete projects according to approved plans, specifications and applicable building codes while ensuring that safety regulations are strictly followed.
• Work collaboratively with safety personnel to ensure adherence to Ledcor’s Corporate safety programs and policies.
• Ensure all projects follow Ledcor’s Construction Operations Manual and lead the development of the Project Quality Program (PQP), ensuring PEP conformance.
• Review and maintain schedule, ensure milestones are met, identify scheduling issues and delays and lead solution development.
• Promote the overall site safety program including subcontractor compliance with Ledcor standards, the Project Specific Safety Plan (PSSP), and all applicable OH&S acts, regulations, and codes.
• Oversee the care and maintenance of internal and rental equipment on projects to maximize use while on the job sites and return equipment to storage or the rental company when no longer required.
• Submit hourly timecards with all necessary details for job costing purposes.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients/consultants to ensure client needs are met and ensure future business opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction experience in a Field Coordinator, Site Clerk, Assistant Superintendent position or similar role.
• Experience working on construction projects within high rise residential, mass timber or other complex projects.
• Combination of work experience in a similar role and industry-related trade certification/education.
• Expertise in safety within the organization and knowledge of OH&S and Environmental standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and the ability to work with senior management.
• Strong technical knowledge of modern construction practices, documents, drawings, schedules, technologies, equipment, industry practices and contract negotiations.
• Ability to anticipate problems and challenges, while providing leadership in creating innovative solutions to achieve organizational objectives.

Working Conditions

• Site based position in Toronto, ON.
• Valid driver's license and clean abstract.
