Electromac Tool, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Simulation Engineer in Windsor, Ontario. The Simulation Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining CAD Data. The ideal candidate will have prior simulation experience, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Summary of Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain CAD Data related to projects as specified by the project engineer and/or customer.
  • Develop and maintain simulation and die processes, both 2D and 3D, based on customer requirements.
  • Propose process improvements based on design engineering and analysis.
  • Suggest alternative design scenarios to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Create and modify 3D surfaces.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customers to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure formability requirements are met in collaboration with manufacturing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Simulation Engineer.
  • Experience in automotive and/or tooling environments.
  • Proficiency in NX 3D Surfacing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
