What You Will Do

Our resort Shuttle Driver is responsible for creating an iconic guest experience by providing internal guests (staff) and external guests (hotel customers) with helpful and welcoming transportation service while maintaining a clean, safe, comfortable and inviting vehicle. This position is responsible for assisting in the transportation of employees to and from staff accommodations and on occasion transporting guests to areas in the Okanagan using the hotel’s 14 person shuttle van.

Responsibilities

• Driving internal and external guests to the locations designated.
• Maintaining a high level of guest service and ensuring rapid and professional response to guest requests.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the vehicle at all times.
• Ensuring the shuttle is in working order and reporting accordingly any required repairs.
• Assisting in loading luggage or other items into the back of the shuttle.
• Ensuring the shuttle remains properly fueled.
• Following all traffic laws to ensure the shuttle is used safely.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• The ability to adhere to safe work practices.
• The ability to understand and communicate with a basic level of English.
• Able-bodied and capable of lifting, carrying and pushing heavy loads.
• A love for a daily routine.
• Friendly and enthusiastic manner, great sense of cooperation and teamwork.
• Class 4 Driver’s License required.
• Clear ICBC driving abstract.
• Shifts include mornings, evenings and weekends based on business and staffing levels.
