Job summary

Smitty’s Furniture is seeking a part-time Showroom Assistant in Hanover, Ontario, to support the Showroom Manager and team. The role involves assisting customers, coordinating showroom operations, and helping with furniture assembly and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Completion of high-school and/or college certificate or diploma.
• 1+ years of experience in a support or maintenance role.
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and communication (verbal and written).
• Ability to manage multiple competing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Sales Leader with day-to-day showroom leadership and team coordination.
• Engage customers with in-store pick-ups and carry outs.
• Move, arrange, and stage furniture in showroom and warehouse.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs and furniture assembly.
• Hang artwork, replace price tags, and support promotions.
