O'Connor Glass Ltd. (AGS) seeks a Shower & Railing Installer to install framed and frameless glass shower systems and railing systems on residential and commercial projects. You will measure, layout, read drawings, and work with site teams to ensure precise, high-quality installations.

This role requires strong hands-on skills, tool proficiency, and a safety-conscious approach. Travel to project sites and reliable transportation are expected; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation, glazing, construction, or carpentry preferred.
• Experience installing glass showers or railing systems is an asset.
• Strong measuring and installation skills.

Responsibilities

• Install framed and frameless glass shower systems.
• Install residential and commercial glass railing systems.

Job description

The Shower & Railing Installer is responsible for installing glass shower systems and residential and commercial railing systems, working closely with project managers, contractors, customers, and site teams to ensure installations are completed safely, accurately, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Install framed and frameless glass shower systems
• Install residential and commercial glass railing systems
• Measure and lay out installation locations accurately
• Read and follow drawings, measurements, and installation instructions
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment
• Troubleshoot installation issues and complete adjustments as required
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, customers, and team members
• Maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with safety regulations
• Provide professional, customer-focused service on site

Qualifications

• Previous installation, glazing, construction, or carpentry experience preferred
• Experience installing glass showers or railing systems considered an asset
• Strong measuring and installation skills
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift and handle glass and other materials
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to travel to project sites as required

Details

• Salary Range: $23.00–$27.00 per hour
• 4% vacation pay
• Full-time, Permanent
• Location: Prince Edward Island
• Travel to project sites may be required
