Job Type: Permanent, Full-time. Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
Compensation package: $18–$27/hour, based on experience and qualifications; overtime pay after 44 hours/week; 2 weeks’ annual vacation; comprehensive group health and dental benefits, including vision and paramedical coverage; life and AD&D insurance; and a 2% employer-funded DPSP retirement contribution.
Position Summary:
Silliker Glass supplies custom shower enclosures, glass railings, commercial storefronts, entrance systems and related hardware to professional installers throughout Eastern North America. As a manufacturer, we work directly from installer-provided measurements and drawings to configure, price and produce finished glass systems.
Silliker Glass is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our Showers Team. In this role, you will prepare accurate quotes for custom glass and hardware based on measurements and sketches provided by professional installers. You will guide customers through available glass and hardware options and produce shop drawings using vendor-supplied software for customer approval.
This position is well suited to an estimator from the construction, architectural products, or hardware industries who is comfortable working with dimensional products, tolerances, and customer-provided measurements. Prior glazing experience is helpful but not required.
