Job summary

Poseidon "les Poissons et Crustacés" Inc. cherche un conducteur routier saisonnier pour notre usine du Québec. Poste nécessitant 30 à 60 heures par semaine et travail à distance possible avec hébergement sur place selon les besoins.

Le candidat doit détenir un permis de conduire classe 1 ou A et posséder une expérience pertinente en conduite de camions variés, notamment charge/déchargement et contrôles pré/post-trip.

Responsibilities

• Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
• Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
