Job summary

JobsMedia.io in Canada is seeking a professional truck driver to address customer needs and manage cargo transportation across international routes. You will arrange travel, supervise vehicle condition, perform inspections, and relay information to dispatch in a timely manner.

The role requires a Class 1 licence, willingness to travel, and an ability to handle a variety of duties including safety, documentation, and cargo security. Permanent, full-time with diverse shifts is offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class 1/1F/A licence (semi trailer trucks).
• Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A).
• Willing to travel cross-border and internationally.
• Seven months to less than 1 year of experience in trucking or related field.

Responsibilities

• Address customers' complaints or concerns.

• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
