Job summary

HIGHLIGHT MOTOR FREIGHT INC. seeks experienced truck drivers for long-haul and regional routes, often in two-person convoys. You will operate tractor-trailers, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure cargo is tarped and secure across various locations in Canada.

Candidates must hold a valid Class 1/A license with Air Brake endorsement and be willing to travel, including overnight stays and relocations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or A) and Air Brake (Z) endorsement.
• Willing to travel and relocate; long-haul experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a two-person team and handle heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods.
• Inspect vehicle condition, tires, lights, brakes and equipment.
• Tarp cargo and ensure safety and security of loads.
• Complete required logs and documentation (bill of lading, trip reports).
