Job summary

Bird&Be is seeking a technically minded Ecommerce Product Manager to own our Shopify ecosystem end-to-end, drive the website roadmap, and manage external agencies. You will dive into the Shopify app stack, optimize conversions, and ensure design and UX meet a high bar.

You’ll coordinate with external agencies, translate merchandising needs into briefs, improve core shopping journeys, run A/B testing, and monitor site performance.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a Shopify-based ecommerce site or DTC brand online store.
• Hands-on with Shopify admin, theme editor, and app configs.
• Able to brief and manage external web agencies to scope, deadlines and brand standards.
• Strong eye for design and user experience with a data-driven mindset.
• Comfortable with troubleshooting customer issues and coordinating with third-party support.
• Experience with Shopify apps (Recharge, Klaviyo, Gorgias) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the Shopify store and third-party apps, evaluating tools and making install/cut decisions.
• Lead conversion optimization through quizzes, cross-sells, and upsells.
• Manage external web development and design agencies, ensuring on-brand, on-time delivery.
• Translate business needs into clear briefs for agencies and developers.
• Improve core shopping journeys, merchandising, and product pages.
• Own an A/B testing roadmap and monitor site performance.
• Troubleshoot escalations and collaborate with support channels.
