Job summary

Foord Trucking is hiring a permanent part-time shop and yard person in Canada. Hours are approximately 4-5 hours per day.

You will assist in daily shop operations, keep equipment clean and organized, perform basic maintenance, help with inventory and parts pickup, and assist in yard maintenance. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required, with strong communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Previous shop experience is an asset.
• Strong communications skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations of the shop.
• Clean and organize work areas and equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment.
• Assist in inventory management and parts pickup.
• Assist in shop yard maintenance.
• Fuel equipment when needed.
• Washing equipment.
• Changing semi tires.
