Job summary

Element Technical Services is seeking a Shop Hand for its Red Deer operations. The role reports to the Shop Foreman and involves general warehouse duties, shipping/receiving, and material handling in a shop setting.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Benefits include RRSP/TFSA matching and a $2,000 signing bonus, plus an employee fuel discount. A valid Class 5 license and ability to operate a forklift are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the industry is an asset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team player with good communication skills and ability to take direction.
• Proficient with forklift and skid steer operation.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pull materials from stock as requested.
• Move stock around by hand or forklift.
• Move/rearrange, restock inventory as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness in shop area.
• Sweeping, mopping floors.

The Shop Hand position is based in our operations office located in Red Deer, AB. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8AM – 5PM.
