Job summary

Essential Coil Well Service, a division of Element Technical Services, seeks a Coiled Tubing Operator for the Red Deer location. You will perform well servicing, operate and transport equipment, and ensure safety and maintenance standards are met.

Applicants should have 2+ years oilfield experience, valid CDL, and be prepared for extended travel. The role offers a signing bonus and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• 2 years of oilfield experience or more.
• Experience with coiled tubing, drilling, wireline or snubbing is an asset.
• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License required.
• H2S Alive, First Aid, Fall Protection, ODA, CSO preferred.
• BOP and Wellhead Boom certifications are assets.
• Able to pass pre-employment fitness and drug screen.
• Willingness to work away from home for extended periods.

• Recognize equipment malfunctions and correct them as necessary.
• Perform general preventative maintenance on all equipment.

• Monitor well control parameters and calculations before and during job applications.
• Assemble and prepare equipment for installation and service, perform pre- and post-job equipment inspections.
• Operate with a safety-first mindset.

Job Requirements

• 2 years previous oilfield experience
• Previous experience in coiled tubing, drilling, wireline or snubbing is considered an asset
• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
• Valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, ODA, CSO preferred
• BOP and Wellhead Boom certifications are an asset
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical fitness assessment and drug screen
• Able to work away from home for extended periods
