The successful candidate will have a 310S Automotive Service Technician licence with 3+ years of licensed technician experience and a natural ability to lead, teach, and communicate effectively

The Opportunity

As our Shop Foreperson, you'll work closely with the Service Manager to provide day-to-day leadership and support to our technicians and apprentices.

Your primary focus will be leading the team, not turning wrenches every day.

You'll use your technical experience to help guide repairs, support technicians, improve shop productivity, and ensure our customers' vehicles are serviced correctly and efficiently.

Your key areas of responsibility will include:

• Shop Leadership: Help oversee daily shop operations, workflow, productivity, and repair quality.
• Technical Support: Provide guidance on challenging diagnoses and repairs, stepping in with hands‑on assistance when needed.
• Coaching & Development: Mentor technicians, support apprentices, and help build a stronger, more capable team.
• Training: Encourage ongoing technical development and ensure manufacturer training requirements are kept up to date.
• Teamwork & Communication: Work closely with Service Advisors, Parts, and the Service Manager to keep work moving and customers informed.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve shop processes, efficiency, accountability, and overall team performance.

What We're Looking For

• A valid 310S Automotive Service Technician licence with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed technician.
• Strong diagnostic and technical skills, with the confidence to guide and support other technicians.
• A natural leader who communicates well, leads by example, and earns the respect of their team.
• Someone who enjoys teaching, coaching, and helping others develop their skills.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• A commitment to quality workmanship, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• A genuine interest in taking the next step in their career.
• Previous supervisory experience would be an asset, but we're equally interested in a strong technician who has the potential and desire to become a great leader.
