Job summary

Wesgar, based in Port Coquitlam, BC, is seeking an early-career Process & Data Mapping Associate to analyze and improve how work, materials, and information flow through our production and warehouse operations. Working primarily on the shop floor, you will observe and map existing processes, analyze cycle times and data, identify waste, and help design, test, and implement practical improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field; Engineering Technology diploma also considered.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with operating data.
• Experience creating process maps, workflows, and documentation is required; lean methods knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observe production and warehouse processes on the shop floor and document as‑is workflows.
• Create process maps, flowcharts, and visual documentation of steps, handoffs, and information flow.
• Identify bottlenecks, delays, gaps, and inefficiencies; propose future-state workflows.
• Develop and update SOPs, trackers, and standardized process documentation.
• Collaborate with process owners to validate maps and ensure accuracy.
