Job summary

Beyond Energy Services and Technology Corp. is seeking a Shop Technician Level 1 to support facility and equipment maintenance in our Canadian operations. You will help maintain clean work areas, keep the yard organized, and assist with safety initiatives and documentation using SiteDocs.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a shop, basic mechanical skills, and valid certifications (First Aid, Fall arrest, Forklift). Strong communication and reliability are essential for daily tasks and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years’ experience working in a shop environment.
• Mechanically inclined and able to apply mechanical knowledge.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• First Aid certification.
• Fall arrest certification.
• Forklift certification.
• Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of maintenance processes and tools.
• Able to multitask under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Organized, dependable and action oriented.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office (Outlook and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Maintain facility and yard upkeep.
• Use SiteDocs daily to complete required forms.
• Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in inspection, repair, and maintenance of all RCD related equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance and repairs of RCD equipment.
• Assist in shipping and receiving of MPD/RCD equipment.
• Assist Receiving on orders from vendors.
• Deliver and/or pick up supplies from vendors.
• Inspect all RCD equipment used and perform preventive maintenance checks and service.
• Maintain company issued tools and develop knowledge and skill in their use.
• Assist Shop Foreman with day-to-day tasks as required.
• Assist Operations team with RCD equipment maintenance as required.
