Job summary

Tier 1 Energy Solutions is seeking a Shop Technician to manage inventory levels, maintain a well-organized shop, and support field operations with job preparation. The role requires independent work, strong manual skills, and a safety-first mindset.

You will handle tools, scheduling inbound materials, and ensuring stock meets production needs while adhering to Tier 1 policies and procedures. High school diploma and basic electronics knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a shop environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to apply mathematical operations to tasks such as frequency distribution, reliability, validity and correlations.
• Basic Electronic knowledge.
• Ability to mentor and grow within Tier 1.
• Ability to think quickly and solve problems.
• Ability to work in a positive team environment.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Maintain certifications per Tier 1’s Quality and HSE.
• Ability to operate independently.
• Champion a safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to Tier 1 Energy Solutions policies and client policies.
• Utilize knowledge of inventory cycles to manage and control inventory levels.
• Communicate and coordinate orders with relevant partners.
• Complete work orders for tools redressed.
• Redress tools.
• Ensure availability of materials and tools for field work.
• Release scheduling of inbound materials and components.
• Maintain adequate stock for production requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
