Job summary

Dass Metal Products is seeking a Shipping Supervisor in Vaughan, ON to oversee all shipping and dispatch activities, supervise staff, and coordinate with production and warehouse teams. You will ensure accurate documentation, safe handling, and compliance with policies.

The role requires 3–5 years in shipping/logistics with 2–3 years in a supervisory capacity in a metal manufacturing environment, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or distribution.
• At least 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal products or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of shipping and logistics processes.
• Experience with ERP, warehouse management, or inventory systems.
• Ability to read shipping documents and customer specifications.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Summary

The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all shipping and dispatch activities to ensure the timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of metal products to customers. This role supervises shipping personnel, coordinates with production and warehouse teams, maintains shipping documentation, and ensures compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
