At Boeing Distribution Inc. is seeking a Shipping Receiving Specialist/Material Handler reporting to the Regional Operational Manager, working out of the Mississauga, Ontario facility.
The Shipping Receiving Specialist/Material Handler role completes initial verification for identification and damage on incoming/outgoing shipments. Processes and confirms receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers. Processes hazardous goods in accordance with Transport Canada requirements, processes the material handling of inbound and outbound customer orders (completing all required tasks e.g., pick; pack; ship, etc.). Validates Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for incoming/outgoing chemical shipments. Maintains inventory of shipping supplies.
This is a full-time, day shift position and is Monday through Friday with a 40-hour week.
Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
Starting salary will be based on year of post-secondary education completed, qualifications and experience. Salary pays range - $24.00/HR - $33.00/HR CAD
