High Level Position Summary

Performs shipping and receiving tasks for goods to/from domestic and international destinations, processes returns, handles warranty repairs, and manages import/export logistics including procedures for Purolator, FedEx, UPS, and customs measurements.

Key Responsibilities

• Pulls products from stock to fulfill orders.
• Affixes labels to products as needed.
• Packs and verifies orders, affixes shipping labels.
• Weighs and costs outgoing materials accurately.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels.
• Ensures materials are shipped via the specified carrier.
• Routes paperwork to responsible parties promptly.
• Restocks to maintain FIFO inventory.
• Maintains good housekeeping standards.
• Assists in training others as needed.

Other Responsibilities

Performs additional duties as assigned. Maintains daily contact with shipping companies, customs brokers, and internal staff. Decisions are subject to approval by the General Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in a high-volume shipping environment (preferred).
• Physical ability to stand, reach, lift, walk, squat, bend, push, and pull as specified.
• Digital dexterity for operating a computer keyboard.
• Ability to communicate verbally and visually, and read order requirements.
