Job summary

Thermon is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk (Warehouse Worker) to provide customer support and process orders for domestic and international shipping. This hands-on role works with Order Management and Thermon affiliates.

Key duties include preparing invoices, packing lists, test reports and certificates of conformance; assisting with freight quotes; ensuring safety and neat work areas; and supporting the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor as needed.

Qualifications

• More than 2 years' experience relevant to order processing
• Forklift experience preferred
• Clean driving abstract is an advantage
• Class 5 Alberta Driving License
• In-depth knowledge of domestic shipping terminology and documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent written and spoken communication
• Detail-oriented and team-focused
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison between Order Management, Thermon affiliates, final customers, and Thermon departments.
• Able to follow Shipping/Receiving documentation for accurate transactions.

• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Performs company pick-ups and deliveries as required.
• Assist with floor checks and loading of freight when required.

The Role

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk (Warehouse Worker) provides customer support and executes order processing for domestic/ International shipping and or receiving. This is a hands-on position for an individual capable of executing processes and procedures.

What You Will Do

• Acts as liaison between Order Management, Thermon affiliates, final customers, and Thermon departments.
• Able to follow Shipping/Receiving documentation for accurate transactions.
• Assists and provides guidance for shipping documentation, Freight quotes etc.
• Prepares and or gathers shipping documentation such as invoices, packing lists, test reports, certificate of conformance and any other required quality or customer required documents.
• Assists Order Fulfillment Manager/Shipping/Receiving Supervisor with additional responsibilities, when necessary.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Performs company Pick-ups and Deliveries as required
• Assist with floor checks and loading of freight when required

Knowledge & Qualifications

• More than 2 years' experience relevant to order processing e.g. able to post and ship orders
• Forklift experience preferably either sit down electric or propane experience is a plus
• Clean driving abstract is an advantage
• Class 5 Alberta Driving License
• In-depth knowledge of domestic shipping terminology and shipping documentations
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Proficient in communicating both oral and in writing.
