Job summary

Wheelwiz, a Canadian online retailer serving Canada’s wheel and tire needs since 2016, seeks a full‑time Shipping & Receiving Clerk for its West Island, Montreal office. You will handle shipping/receiving, labeling, and inventory picking, while maintaining a clean warehouse and ensuring smooth daily operations beneath a fast-paced environment.

You will work Monday to Friday, lift up to 80 lbs, and interact with customers in French and English.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/receiving is an asset.
• Warehouse experience is preferred.
• Experience with customs declarations is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills; Shopify and/or ShipStation is an asset.
• Ability to lift and move up to 80 lbs.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of products through our warehouse. You will handle all shipping and receiving related tasks, including managing pickups, creating labels, and picking inventory, all while maintaining an organized and clean warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Receiving

• Efficiently manage the receipt and shipment of goods, create shipping labels, and schedule courier pickups.
• Inspect incoming shipments for quality assurance and repackage items for outgoing orders.
• Prepare customs documentation for international shipments.

Client Pickups & Packaging

• Coordinate and assist with in‑person client pickups.
• Package wheel and tire assemblies using a strapping machine.

TPMS Sensor Programming

• Program Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensors according to each client’s vehicle specifications.
• Accurately pick and assemble hardware kits based on client requirements, ensuring all components are included and correctly packaged.

Warehouse Organization

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
• Ensure internal systems are kept organized and up to date.

Additional Support

• Returning inventory to suppliers
• Delivering orders to customers
• General warehouse and office maintenance
• Miscellaneous cleaning tasks (wheels, tires, vehicles, etc.)

Your Profile

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving is considered an asset.
• Warehouse experience is preferred.
• Experience with customs declarations is considered a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills; experience with Shopify and/or ShipStation is considered an asset.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and interact professionally with clients in both French and English.

Location & Schedule

• This is a full‑time, in‑person role, Monday to Friday.
• Our office is located in the West Island of Montreal (Dollard‑des‑Ormeaux). Candidates must be able to commute to this location.
