Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an experienced Shipper/Receiver in Mississauga, ON. The role is full-time, onsite, with temporary-to-permanent potential and a daytime schedule.

You will handle incoming shipments, manage inventory, and prepare orders for shipment while utilizing ERP systems and forklifts. A path to permanent hire includes benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Shipper/Receiver experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Current and valid Forklift Certification (Counterbalance and Raymond Reach).
• Strong experience operating forklifts in a busy warehouse setting.
• Experience using ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and accurately process inventory.
• Perform inventory put-aways and maintain organized warehouse storage.
• Ensure production and warehouse teams have the required inventory to fulfill work orders.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Coordinate courier pickups and outbound shipments using shipping software.
• Process transactions within the company's ERP and inventory management systems.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Safely operate Counterbalance and Raymond Reach forklifts.
• Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely.
• Work closely with other departments to support operational and customer service objectives.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Shipper/Receiver experience in a warehouse or distribution environment

• Experience using ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Reliable transportation to the Mississauga location is considered an asset
