Job summary

Recruiting In Motion - Eastern Ontario is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate for our manufacturing client in Markham. You will support daily shipping, receiving and inventory tasks, ensuring accurate processing of orders and maintaining a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will verify shipments, participate in cycle counts, prepare shipping documents, and coordinate with carriers while lifting up to 50 lbs and using forklifts when certified.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience.
• Experience with warehouse management or inventory systems is an asset.
• Experience operating Walkies and Reach Trucks is an asset.
• Forklift certification is an asset.
• Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders
• Inspect incoming products for damage, defects, or discrepancies
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the warehouse
• Enter and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory information in warehouse systems
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, and damaged goods
• Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate with carriers
• Ensure inventory is properly labeled, organized, and stored
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
