Job summary

Cencora, based in Ontario, is seeking a Shipping Coordinator for a 12-month role to support pharmacy/logistics operations in Barrie. You will handle order packaging, shipment checks, scheduling pickups, and ensuring compliance with privacy, safety, and quality standards.

Requires a High School Diploma/GED and under 2 years in related fields; certification in pharmacy tech or logistics is preferred. Competitive benefits and full-time hours offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• Less than 2 years of experience in pharmacy support, shipping/logistics, warehousing, or a related field required.
• Certification in pharmacy technician practice or logistics and warehouse operations, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Packages orders using approved materials and checklists; checks contents and labels against documentation before submission.
• Checks and scans shipments in the system of record; updates status, logs, and tracking fields to keep artifacts traceable.
• Schedules pickups and delivery handoffs within defined turnaround times; notifies designated contacts of variances.
• Records discrepancies, damages, or missing information and reports issues promptly with clear context.
• Applies privacy, security, safety, and quality protocols in all handling and storage activities; documents compliance as required.
• Updates personal job aids and completes required training; suggests small improvements to checklists and templates for supervisor approval.
• Collaborates with teammates to confirm requirements, due dates, and handoffs; routes out-of-scope inquiries to designated contacts.
