Job summary

Cavendish Farms is seeking a Shipping Highstacker to operate powered industrial trucks and support cold-storage logistics. You will move finished goods, ensure accurate inventory, and load trailers while following strict safety and quality standards.

This role requires forklift experience and the ability to work in a cold environment. We value reliability, teamwork, and precise stock control in a fast-paced warehouse setting at several locations across Canada.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution center.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move products up to 50 lb.
  • Willingness to work in cold environments; proper cold-weather clothing provided.
  • Forklift certification is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with accuracy in stocking and inventory.
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Flexible to work rotational shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Move Finished Goods and maintain accurate inventory in E1.
  • Operate forklifts safely and be aware of surroundings.
  • Inspect forklift daily and record inspections.
  • Follow all policies and manufacturing specs.
  • Utilize the DSI system to scan and confirm products as they move through inventory.
  • Load trucks according to daily orders.
  • Keep areas clean and compliant with RKI and SQF standards.

Job Description

Shipping Highstacker is responsible to operate powered industrial trucks and various other pieces of equipment to load and unload frozen food products to and from the cold storage areas, loading docks, trailers, and production areas.

  • Hourly wage : $21.59 - 23.92 /hr
Responsibilities
  • Move Finished Goods and Keep accurate inventory in E1
  • Operate Forklifts Safely and be aware of surroundings.
  • Inspect Forklift daily and fill out proper inspection sheet.
  • Follow all practices, policies, procedures and manufacturing specifications
  • Effectively and accurately utilize DSI system by scanning and confirming of product as it moves through inventory.
  • Load truck in accordance with orders scheduled for the day
  • Keep area clean and up to RKI and SQF Standards.
Qualifications
