Conestoga Meat Packers Ltd. seeks a Distribution Centre Shipper for the afternoon shift (PM) at the Breslau/Cambridge sites. Duties include operating a tow motor, using RF scanners, picking and stacking orders, and loading/unloading trucks.

You will maintain paperwork accuracy and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced distribution environment. Open position pays within the Rate Group 4 at $25.69/hour. Applicants should have tow motor certification and be able to commute to both locations.

Qualifications

• Tow motor certification is required.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and locations (Breslau and Cambridge).
• Must have transportation to both locations.
• Product knowledge is an asset.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsabilités

• Operate tow motor daily to handle product movement.
• Use RF scanners to allocate products to orders.
• Select and pick orders.
• Stack ordered boxes on pallets with stability.
• Complete required paperwork after each order.
• Load orders into trucks.
• Unload incoming product from Breslau.
• Monitor food safety concerns (temperatures, damaged boxes/combos, incorrect product).
• Obey Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Daily use of tow motor
• Use of RF scanners to allocate products to assigned orders
• Select/pick orders
• Arrange/stack ordered boxes on pallet ensuring proper stability and presentation
• Completion of required paperwork after each completed order
• Load orders into trucks
• Unload incoming product from Breslau
• Monitor for food safety concerns (temperatures, damaged boxes/combos, incorrect product)
  • Obey all Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
