Fresh Start Foods Canada Ltd. is seeking an evening Shipping Clerk to join the Milton Facility. The role runs Sunday to Friday, 6:00 pm to 2:00 am with Saturday and one other day off.

You will manage shipments, coordinate logistics, print routes, and handle inventory while following safety procedures. We offer competitive wages, profit sharing, benefits after 30 days, RRSP, Employee Purchase Program, and a team-based working environment.

We are currently seeking an evening Shipping Clerk to join our team for the Milton Facility.

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Sunday - Friday, 6:00 pm to 2:00 am

(Saturday and one other day off, subject to change but most likely Monday or Wednesday)

Salary: $20/h

Duties:

• Manage shipments: You'll be responsible for verifying and maintaining accurate records for all incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Coordinate logistics: You'll determine the best shipping methods and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring everything is accurate before it leaves the warehouse.

• Support the team: You'll print daily routes for our pullers and track important details like departure and loading times to keep operations running smoothly.

• Handle inventory: You'll receive and inspect new products from vendors, reporting any damages or shortages to the relevant teams. You'll also conduct regular equipment inventory and cycle counts.

• Safety first: You'll follow all safety regulations and procedures, including using proper lifting techniques to protect yourself and others.

Skills, Qualifications , Experience:

• Strong attention to detail: You are highly accurate and organized, especially when working with numbers and documentation.

• Communication skills: You can communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with team members and supervisors.

• Positive attitude: You're a self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and strong time management skills.

• Technical aptitude: You have the ability to learn and operate our order entry system and other software with ease.

• Physical capability: You can perform the physical aspects of the job, including frequent lifting.
