Fresh Start Foods Canada Ltd. in Milton, Ontario is seeking a full-time Machine Operator to join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role requires operating slicers, dicers and peelers, reading recipes, and ensuring safe, accurate production with documentation.

Weekend work is required and a refrigerated environment is common. You will contribute to quality outputs, safety, and efficiency while supporting a collaborative team and meeting production targets in a dynamic food processing

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience in a food processing facility.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate machines - slicers, dicers, peelers.
• Perform testing procedures to ensure machines run optimally.
• Process foods including cutting, washing, and drying as required.
• Read recipes for weight, size and volume specifications.
• Identify and retrieve products for processing and monitor equipment.
• Read and follow safety procedures and complete required documentation.

Fresh Start Foods is currently hiring a**Full-Time (Permanent) Machine Operators**who is eager to work in a fast paced team oriented work environment at our Milton, Ontario location.

Position: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: $19/h

Schedule: 5 days/week Sunday to Friday (Saturdays + another changing day off), start 7:00am

A Day in the Life of a Machine Operator @ Fresh Start Foods:

• Accurate completion of documentation when required
• Works in a safe manner and follows all safety procedures
• Set up and operate machines - slicers, dicers, peelers
• Perform testing procedures to ensure machines are working optimally
• Perform food processing functions including manual cutting, washing, and drying of products.
• Able to identify and retrieve products for processing
• Able to read the recipes (weight, cut size, volume)
• Monitor and troubleshoot basic machine problems/perform regular safety checks

What you bring to the Fresh Start Foods Table:

• Previous manufacturing experience in a food processing facility
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
• Ability to be flexible with regards to working in production areas where needed the most
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
