Job summary

Westlake Chemical Corporation in Vaughan, Ontario, is seeking a warehouse associate to support shipping and receiving operations both outdoors and indoors. Tasks include reviewing orders, processing picks, organizing the yard and warehouse, putting away finished product, and assisting with packaging and labeling.

You will operate forklift equipment, handle pallets up to 50 pounds, and adhere to safety standards while loading and unloading vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift certification.
• Able to read/write/speak English.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg).

Responsibilities

• Review shipping orders as distributed by shipping supervisor.
• Process orders accordingly (i.e. picking orders).
• Keep yard and warehouse organized for efficiency and safety.
• Put away all finished product from production area in designated warehouse spaces.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management; construct packaging.
