Job summary

Drake International in Brockville, Ontario is seeking a part-time Forklift Operator / Shipper / Receiver to join our team. The role runs 2 days per week from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, offering $21.00 per hour plus 4% vacation pay.

You will operate a forklift, handle shipping/receiving, and support a busy warehouse environment. Responsibilities include loading/unloading shipments, inventory picking and shipping, cycle counts, and accuracy of stock using SAP/WMS.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence.
• 2-5 years of warehouse experience, especially shipping/receiving.
• Experience with SAP, Warehouse Management Systems, or handheld inventory systems.

Responsibilities

This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable operating a forklift, understands shipping and receiving, and enjoys working in a busy warehouse environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely operate a forklift in a busy, safety-sensitive warehouse environment.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Pick, prepare, receive, and ship inventory.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and help maintain accurate stock.
• Work with SAP and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Keep warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and efficient.
• Work collaboratively with the team and help in other warehouse areas when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid forklift licence.
• 2-5 years of previous warehouse experience, particularly in shipping and receiving.
• Previous experience with SAP, Warehouse Management Systems, or similar handheld inventory systems.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
• Clear criminal record.
• Physically capable of repeatedlylifting upto50lbsthroughout the day.
• Comfortable with a physical role involving regular walking, bending, stretching, lifting, loading, and unloading.
• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
