Job summary

ProAmpac Holdings, Inc. in Whitby, Canada, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate for a full-time day shift.

You will handle inbound/outbound shipments, verify contents, and ensure accurate data entry into ERP/WMS systems while maintaining organized shipping areas and adhering to safety procedures. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of warehouse experience, forklift certification (or willingness to obtain), and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect materials for damage, discrepancies, or quality concerns and report issues.
• Accurately enter received goods into inventory systems.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and customer requirements.
• Generate shipping documentation (bill of lading, packing slips, labels).
• Coordinate pickups with carriers and schedule shipments.
• Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment (if certified).
• Maintain organized shipping/receiving areas.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
